Grilled Cuban Sandwich and Pickles



Ingredients: 4 jalapeños 4 soft hoagie rolls, cut lengthwise 2 oz butter, melted ½ lb sliced Swiss cheese yellow mustard, as needed mayonnaise, as needed ½ lb thinly sliced ham ½ lb store bought shredded roasted pork, warmed 4 dill pickle spears Directions: Heat a grill to high. When the fire is hot, add the jalapeños and cook until well charred, about 8 minutes. Transfer to a cutting board and slice into rings. Adjust the grill heat to medium. Brush the insides of the bread with butter. Place them cut-side down on the grill. Cook until lightly toasted, about 1 minute. Remove the bread from the grill. Add a layer of cheese to the bread. Spread 4 cheese sides with mustard and mayo, to taste. Then layer each with the ham, pork, and jalapeños. Top with the plain cheese breads
